February 2010-April 2011: Senior Architect, ML Design, Brisbane
Residential High Rise project Port Moresby: Senior Architect and leader for the documentation team of a residential high rise project for expatriate accommodation comprising 4 x nine-storey towers plus a 4 storey community facilities building. Total project value $ 450 million.

June 2008 –October 2009: Senior Architect, S2F Pty Ltd.
Nambour Hospital, Nambour Qld: Senior Architect on the Design Development and Documentation of a new ward block. Construction value in excess of $100 million.

Nov 2006- May 2008: Senior Architect, Woods Bagot, Brisbane:
Department of Defence: Multi unit residential housing in NSW and Queensland, delivered under a Public Private Partnership. Total value in excess of  $500 million.
Team member: Design Dev. & Documentation for 'The Rocket’ multi storey office building, Robina
New aviation education campus, at Maryborough, for Flight Training Adelaide. Project Director for a Master-plan and feasibility study. Estimated value $250 million.

March 2005- Nov 2006: Branch Architect for the Queensland Police Service.
New Queensland Police Academy and  Police operational facilities, at Westgate. Master planning and involvement with the preparation of a Business Case. Total value, over $500 million.

June 1998-Dec 2004: Lecturing Architecture
Lecturing and tutoring at the Department Architecture at The University of Queensland 2004

BIOGRAPHY  


Kevin is a Brisbane based Architect and Associate with ICE architects.  He is an experienced Architect and design team leader with 25 years experience in Architecture, Project Management and Industrial Design.
Kevin has been engaged as an Architect by both Private and Government sectors and designed a range of large campus developments and university buildings, including laboratories, schools, government and  commercial office buildings, industrial and medium density housing.
Kevin is interested in the effect of technology on design practise and the social impacts of technological  innovation.  He has senior management experience in tertiary education and has lectured in Architecture at several universities.  Kevin has been on the Practice Committee of the Queensland Chapter, Australian Institute of Architects since 2011, is a former member of the RAIA National Education Committee from 2001-2004 and sat on the Chapter Council of the NT Chapter RAIA from 2007-2013.
